Bedford Park is a Grade Two listed English Heritage Victorian park in the north of Bedford. Created in 1888 it is the largest urban park in Bedford and contains a lake, multiple play areas and sports facilities.

Bedford Park Tree Trail

There are some beautiful trees within the grounds of Bedford Park, many of which formed part of the original layout of the park from 1888. Go to our trees in Bedford Borough page to follow a trail around the park which highlights trees of interest.


The Pavilion At The Park is an all-day coffee bar and restaurant serving fresh and delicious homemade British cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients.

At the heart of the community, The Pavilion hosts a series of classes and events throughout the year including a monthly exhibition showcasing local artists.
