Former Mayor of Bedford Anthony Ruffin has died.

Anthony Ruffin was a Goldington Bedford Borough Councillor for Queens Park, and then Kingsbrook, from 1991 to 2002. 

He was also the ceremonial Mayor of Bedford from 1998-1999.
