Former councillor Gordon Willey passes away

Former Mayor of Bedford Anthony Ruffin has died.

Anthony Ruffin was a Goldington Bedford Borough Councillor from 1991 to 2002. 

He was also the ceremonial Mayor of Bedford from 1998-1999.

Will Hunt, the long-serving former councillor and Honorary Alderman of Bedford Borough, has died.

Alderman Derek Jones, former councillor and Mayor of Bedford, has died.

Derek Jones was a Labour Bedford Borough Councillor for Queens Park, and then Kingsbrook, from 1983 to 2006. 

He was also the ceremonial Mayor of Bedford in both 1993 and 1994.
