The latest success in the Council’s campaign against environmental crime involved a man who abandoned his van in De Parys Avenue, Bedford, in February. A yellow Vauxhall van was reported to the Council as being abandoned, untaxed and with an MOT that had expired.

The English tradition of Morris dancing will take centre stage at The Higgins Bedford this St. George’s Day weekend. On Saturday 22 April, from 11am to 3pm. The museum will host "Come In, St. George," a day celebrating Morris dancing with talks, discussions and displays of Morris dancing.
