Active Adults courses return this autumn – and we want you to get moving and take part!

From complete beginners to sporting enthusiasts and those wanting to revive a favourite sport, there is something for adults aged 35-plus.

This term offers courses that run for up to eight weeks, which will take place across the Borough in the mornings, afternoons and evenings during the week and weekends, with specialist sessions for women and beginners across a variety of activities.

Sign up for new and popular courses including badminton, women’s boxing, yoga, Pilates, cardio tennis, beginners golf, indoor bowls, Pickleball, swing dance, jazz exercise classes, Kendo Japanese fencing and much more.

Many courses start from 28 September with prices varying depending on activity, and are designed to remain affordable and accessible to all adults.

Cllr John Wheeler, Portfolio Holder for Customer Experience (inc. Leisure, Recreation and Culture) said; “This year’s Active Adults courses offer adults a variety of exciting and invigorating activities. Whether you want to develop a skill, boost your fitness, meet new people, or simply try something different, there’s a course for you.

“We are proud to help people across the Borough lead healthier, more active and connected lives. Sign up now and get moving!”

Bookings are now open and are on a first come, first serve basis. You can only book one course at a time and payment will be taken at the end of your booking session. Please note, cash and cheques are not accepted.
