We offer a range of sporting activities for adults. This enables you to increase your fitness and enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
Active Adults sports courses
Active Adults are eight-week sports courses aimed at over 35 year olds.
Courses run three times a year:
- January to March
- May to July
- September to November
Active Adults is ideal if you want to try a particular activity or have a go at something new. It is also for you if you tried a sport before and want to return to it in a relaxed, informal environment with other like-minded people.
All sessions are held at local venues situated within the Borough. The sessions are run for adults, by experienced and qualified coaches. All required equipment will be provided.
If you like the sport and want to continue with it after the course has finished, we will give you information to help you to do so.
Courses may be cancelled if numbers are low. You will be notified a minimum of seven days before the start date and offered an alternative or a full refund.

All course bookings are on a first come first served basis.
We are unable to take cash or cheque for any courses.
