No Limits

No Limits is Bedford Borough’s inclusive sports programme for people of all ages with a disability.

The No Limits programme offers people with disabilities lots of opportunities to take part in regular sport and physical activity.

The programme believes that there are:

  • no limits to an individual’s involvement
  • no limits to an individual’s aspiration to succeed
  • no limits to regular sports participation

No Limits Multi-Activity Club

The Multi-Activity Club is for people aged 16 years and over with a learning and / or a physical disability.

Mondays from 1:45pm to 2:45pm (excluding public holidays) 

Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (At the John Bunyan Centre)

Thursdays from 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Activities on offer include rounders, basketball, badminton, dodgeball and football.

Bedford International Athletic Stadium, Barkers Lane, MK41 9SB

£3 per session, no need to book, just pay on the day.

No Limits disability football

The disability football sessions are open to adults aged 16 years and over with a learning and / or physical disability.

Mondays from 10:30am to 11.30am (excluding  public holidays)

No Limits Sports Zone

Sports Zone is a weekly sports club, which takes place at John Bunyan Sports & Fitness, Mile Road, Bedford, MK42 9TS. At Sports Zone  young people between the ages of 8 and 18 years old who have a disability or additional needs (and their siblings) can have fun, develop skills and try new sports.

Multi-Sports Saturdays (just £3.50 per session) 

A multi-sports programme offering the chance to develop new and improve existing skills whilst experiencing new activities. The sessions run on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm and are delivered by a variety of local coaches alongside our qualified staff.

  • 16 March - Badminton - 10am to 12pm
  • 23 March - Dodgeball - 10am to 12pm

  • 6 April - Kurling - 10am to 12pm
  • 13 April - Tennis - 10am to 12pm
  • 20 April - Easter Break, no session
  • 27 April - Dance - 10am to 12pm
  • 4 May - Handball - 10am to 12pm
  • 11 May - Tennis - 10am to 12pm
  • 18 May - Swimming - 10am to 12pm
  • 25 May - Athletics - 10am to 12pm
  • 1 June - Cricket - 10am to 12pm
  • 8 June - Dance - 10am to 12pm
  • 15 June - Tennis - 10am to 12pm
  • 22 June - Athletics - 10am to 12pm
  • 29 June - Rounders - 10am to 12pm
  • 6 July - Canoeing - 10am to 12pm
  • 13 July - End of Term Celebration - 10am to 12pm

Multi-Sports Wednesdays (just £2 per session)

The mid-week sports session is an extension of the Saturday morning club and runs during term time only. The club usually runs between 5:30pm and 6:30pm (depending on the activity).

  • 22 May - Hockey - 10am to 12pm

  • 19 June - Canoeing - 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • 26 June - Cricket - 5:30pm to 6:30pm
  • 3 July - Swimming - 5:15pm to 7pm
  • 10 July - Table Tennis - 5:30pm to 6:30pm
  • 17 July - End of Term Bowling - 5:30pm to 9pm
