Telecare is a range of equipment that can promote safety in your own home. These are items such as pendant alarms, falls detectors and movement sensors.
We work in partnership with Grand Union Housing Group to provide a Telecare service to those who need it.
If you think Telecare could be useful, then contact us on 01234 228328 for a referral. We are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The next step is a specialist assessment that will identify the best type of equipment to meet your ongoing needs.
After the assessment, we may decide Telecare is not appropriate for you. In that case, we will signpost you to other services and discuss any potential costs that may occur.
If you are eligible for Telecare, then there will be no charge for the equipment provide. The only condition is that you have a telephone landline in your home, to allow incoming and outgoing calls. Grand Union Housing Group will install and demonstrate the equipment on our behalf.
