If you’re aged 17-25 and have experience of living in care in Bedford Borough you could be a Care Leader.

There’s a nice, relaxed meeting in Bedford town centre every month (usually with coffee/tea and cake) and it’s an opportunity for you to have fun, meet other young people, share experiences, and have your say on topics that are important to you.  Sharing your views, feelings, ideas and opinions can make a huge difference; not just for you but to the lives of other young people.

Young people interested in Care Leaders must currently have a Bedford Borough Council personal assistant or social worker (or have current access to support from Bedford Borough Council’s Children’s Services if needed).

Get involved with our Care Leavers activities and projects - your voice needs to be heard.
