Bedford Borough Council has relaunched the Citizens’ Survey, an initiative designed to empower residents to help shape the future of Bedford Borough. Residents of Bedford Borough aged 18 and over are now invited to participate and make their voices heard.
Bedford Borough Council is inviting residents, visitors and businesses to voice their opinions on the potential extension of the current Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), set to tackle street drinking and related anti-social behaviour within Bedford town centre.
Following the roll-out of the Warm Spaces initiative during the winter, Bedford Borough Council is taking steps to help support residents during periods of high temperatures.
Local Election Day is Thursday 4 May, when elections will be held for the Mayor of Bedford Borough, Borough Councillors, and Parish and Town Councillors where areas have parish/town councils that are contested (ie. more candidates than seats on the Council).
From Saturday 29 April to Sunday 7 May, families are invited to visit Bedford Borough Libraries for free fun Coronation-themed craft activities. Bedford Central, Bromham, Kempston, Putnoe, and Wootton libraries all have activities planned.
