Bedford Borough Council is announcing a fresh lineup of Active Adults courses, set to kick off the week beginning May 12, 2025. This vibrant program offers a diverse range of activities tailored for adults aged 35 and above, providing an excellent opportunity to stay active, socialise, and explore new hobbies.
Councillor Sarah Gallagher, Portfolio Holder for Customer Experience, Leisure and Culture, said; "We are thrilled to launch this new series of Active Adults courses, which cater to a wide range of interests and abilities. Whether you're eager to try something new or revisit a favourite pastime, these sessions are perfect for meeting like-minded people and enhancing your overall well-being. We encourage all residents to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to get moving and have fun!"
One previous participant shared their positive experience with the program: "I really enjoyed my Active Adults yoga course. The venue was really local to me as I live in a village outside of the borough, and the price was really affordable. The coach was really knowledgeable and gave different levels for each move. On top of keeping active, I have also made friends in the area."
