A decision has been made by Bedford Borough Council to cease operation at the Blue and White Peris Mountain Centre from the end of October 2025, which means it is no longer available for schools to book for residential outdoor activity programmes.
This has been a difficult conclusion, reached only after a detailed review and careful consideration of all available options.
We understand that this will be disappointing to many who have enjoyed and supported the Centre over the years. The contribution it has made to outdoor learning, personal development, and community wellbeing is something we are proud of, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who have taken part in activities or worked with us.
While the centre will no longer be in operation, a wide range of alternative outdoor learning and adventure opportunities continue to be available locally and across the country.
