Sport and physical activity encourage positivity, stimulate brain activity and contribute to good health.

The Mindful Sport programme aims to improve the mental health of people in the community through social physical activity sessions.

The activities help people who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and other similar conditions. 

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we have adjusted a number of the sport sessions run by Sports Development to ensure the safety of participants, staff and volunteers. We have restarted. This is in line with Government guidelines and we advise all attendees to follow the Covid safety guidelines for each venue.

Live online classes

We have a range of live online fitness classes, including mindful yoga, for you to keep moving and promote wellbeing at home. Go to Bedford Sport Live for the full timetable of free classes
