Bedford Borough Council is excited to announce the launch of a customer satisfaction survey for Harrold-Odell and Priory Country Park. This initiative aims to gather valuable feedback from park users to enhance the quality of services and facilities provided.

Running until Monday 24 June, 2024, the survey presents an opportunity for visitors to share their experiences and suggestions for improvement. Participation is crucial in shaping the future direction of the parks and ensuring they meet the diverse needs of the communities they serve. The survey is available online at www.bedford.gov.uk/HarroldOdell and www.bedford.gov.uk/Priory (find the link in the blue banner at the top of each page) and posters will be displayed at each park.

Harrold-Odell and Priory Country Park, cherished green spaces within Bedford Borough, serve as vital recreational hubs for residents and visitors alike. By actively engaging with the survey, participants contribute to the ongoing enhancement of park amenities and services.

"We value the input of our park users and are committed to delivering exceptional experiences at Harrold-Odell and Priory Country Park," remarked Jim Weir, Portfolio Holder for Environment, Highways, and Transport at Bedford Borough Council.

"The feedback gathered through this survey will inform our management and action plans, ensuring that we continue to meet the needs and expectations of our valued community members."

Previous surveys have played a significant role in shaping park management strategies and improving visitor experiences. The insights gleaned from past feedback have led to tangible enhancements in park infrastructure, amenities, and programming.

James Lynch, Team Leader Open Spaces, Infrastructure & Community Engagement, said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for users of these parks to put forward their ideas and views. Last year we ran a similar survey for Bedford Park and Addison Howard Park. The information we receive from these surveys helps us better understand our users needs and priorities.”

Participants are encouraged to take part in the survey to help Bedford Borough Council better understand their preferences and priorities, each one should take around just five to ten minutes to complete. By sharing their feedback, individuals contribute to the ongoing improvement and preservation of these cherished green spaces for generations to come.
