Bedford Borough Council has relaunched the Citizens’ Survey, an initiative designed to empower residents to help shape the future of Bedford Borough. Residents of Bedford Borough aged 18 and over are now invited to participate and make their voices heard.

The Citizens’ Survey 2023 will run to Sunday October 8, providing plenty of time for residents to share their valuable insights and feedback on a number of services provided by Bedford Borough Council along with other essential agencies and stakeholders.

The survey, which is estimated to take around 20 minutes to complete, aims to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to have their say. To participate in the Citizens’ Survey 2023 visit www.bedford.gov.uk/citizenssurvey2023.

Laura Church, Chief Executive of Bedford Borough Council, said, "The Citizens’ Survey is a crucial tool for us to understand the needs and aspirations of our community. This feedback influences key decisions we make as a Council, and we are committed to ensuring that the voices of all our residents are heard."

“The Citizens’ Survey 2023 is an opportunity for all residents of Bedford Borough to shape their community's future. Bedford Borough Council encourages everyone to participate and help build a brighter tomorrow.”

The survey covers a wide range of areas, including views on the Town Centres, Anti-social Behaviour, Policing, Crime and Community Safety, the cost of living, Partnerships, and Health and wellbeing. It plays an important role in shaping policies and priorities that align with Bedford Borough’s Corporate Plan 2022-2026, which is currently under review.
