Christmas and New Year service changes

Normal timetables operate until Sunday 21 December.

Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 December

Operators will run to a normal Monday to Friday (school holiday) timetable. UNO buses will run to a Saturday timetable, but with late evening journeys on the Bedford – Cranfield – Milton Keynes routes altered or cancelled.

Christmas Eve – Wednesday 24 December

Operators will run to a normal Monday to Friday (school holiday) timetable, with services ending earlier than usual, with last journeys on most routes between 6pm and 8pm.

UNO buses will run to a Saturday timetable, with services ending between 6pm and 8pm. 

Christmas Day – Thursday 25 December and Boxing Day – Friday 26 December

No buses will operate in Bedford Borough.

Saturday 27 December and Sunday 28 December

A normal Saturday service will operate on Saturday 27 December, and a normal Sunday service will operate on Sunday 28 December.

Monday 29 December and Tuesday 30 December

Most routes will operate to a Saturday timetable.

UNO buses will run to a Saturday timetable, but with late evening journeys on the Bedford – Cranfield – Milton Keynes routes altered or cancelled.

New Year’s Eve – Wednesday 31 December

Most operators will run to a Saturday timetable, and services will end earlier than usual, with last journeys on most routes between 6pm and 8pm.

New Year’s Day – Thursday 1 January

No buses will operate in Bedford Borough.

Friday 2 January

Most operators will run to a normal Monday - Friday (school holiday) timetable.

Grant Palmer buses will mostly run to a Saturday timetable, UNO buses will run to a Saturday timetable, but with late evening journeys on the Bedford – Cranfield – Milton Keynes routes altered or cancelled.  Stagecoach route 50 (Bedford – Rushden – Kettering) will tun to a Saturday timetable.

Community Transport bus operators

Routes will operate according to the regular calendar and timetable except – Flittabus will not operate on 24, 25 and 26 December or 1 January.

Villager (Sharnbrook) will not operate on 24, 25 or 26 December or 1 January.

Normal service resumes from Saturday 3 January.
