Kempston Centre

Carnell Close, Off Williamson Road, Kempston MK42 7HP

The Kempston Centre has a range of day opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs that require supervised staff support.

Some of the activities we run include:

  • sensory-based activities
  • community access
  • person-centred exercise and movement
  • arts and crafts
  • woodwork
  • cooking skills
  • gardening
  • structured task box learning

People are encouraged to take part in making decisions about their needs as adults, and we use VoiceAbility to help people make their own choices.

The staff work in a person-centred way and are part of a multi disciplinary team working with physiotherapists, sensory specialists and health workers.
