The Town Centre Area Action Plan Development Plan set out the spatial strategy for Bedford town centre. It was adopted on 8 October 2008 and was replaced by Local Plan 2030. It is no longer part of the development plan and is included here for reference only.

The report of the Inspector concluded that overall the plan was sound, proposing only a number of minor changes - some of which had been proposed by the Council and some which arose from discussions at the hearing sessions.
