The Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides guidance for those who intend to convert, use or develop properties for multiple occupation.

It will be a material consideration in any planning applications for HMO development and will inform local communities on how such applications will be considered by the Council.

The HMO SPD was adopted by the Council’s Executive on 28 October 2020.
