We have established ground rules for public participation at Forum meetings. Please read the ground rules so we can ensure that our meeting time is both positive and productive. 

Public participation guidelines for BoBLAF meetings

Members of the public are most welcome to attend Borough of Bedford Local Access Forum (BoBLAF) meetings and present any matter relevant to Public Rights of Way and Access in Bedford Borough. Ten minutes is set aside at the start of each meeting for all public participants.

If a member of the public wishes to speak at a meeting, they should contact the Secretary of the BoBLAF via email BoBLAF.Secretary@bedford.gov.uk at least a week (preferably two weeks) before the meeting, indicating the topic(s) they wish to discuss.

Outside of this ‘Public Participation’ session at every meeting, members of the public may not participate in BoBLAF discussions unless specifically invited to do so by the Chair of the meeting.

Minutes of a BoBLAF meeting will be approved at the following meeting, and will normally be posted on this page within 10 working days, together with papers from that meeting which the Council has approved for wider sharing.
