Bedford Borough Council has been successful in obtaining £242,800 from the Government and Sports England as part of their Swimming Pool Support Fund for Kempston Pool.
Charitable social enterprise GLL will start operating in Bedford Borough leisure centres in the coming days. The new partnership means customers and staff will transfer on 1 February 2024.
This year’s community tree planting sessions will take place across two sites and Bedford Borough Council is once again giving away 5,000 trees to local residents, community groups, schools and organisations.
