    After the Christmas celebrations are over and all the decorations are down, if you cannot plant your real Christmas tree in the garden, don’t forget to recycle it.

  • Bedford Borough Council Tackling Blue Badge Fraud

    Bedford Borough Council carried out a Blue Badge Enforcement Day in Bedford town centre on Tuesday 17 December.

    During this day, officers carried out checks and verifications of the Blue Badges being used in Bedford and identifying any cases where they were being misused.

  • Check Your Bin Collections Over Christmas and New Year

    With Christmas nearly upon us, Bedford Borough Council is reminding local residents about a few changes to bin collections over the festive period.

    Bin collections will not be carried out on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day so collections will be slightly different over this period and are expected to return to normal by Monday 13 January.

  • Festive Opening Hours and Services over Christmas and New Year

    With festive bank holidays coming up, there are a few changes to Council opening hours and services over the bank holidays.
