The Bedford Borough Council Events team is now inviting applications from traders, caterers, and charities interested in participating in the next Bedford River Festival, set to take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2026.
Following the record success of the 2024 River Festival, which attracted over 300,000 visitors, this free-to-enter event promises to be an even more vibrant celebration of live entertainment, river events, sports, arts, and cultural activities across the stunning 105-acre festival site. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase offerings to a large audience over the festival weekend.
Applications for these pitches are open now until all pitches are filled, or the deadline of Friday, 5 June 2026 is reached. Please note that applying does not guarantee inclusion, as applications are carefully considered to ensure diversity and balance across commercial trade, promotional stalls, charities, and catering.
Bar and ice cream concessions have been awarded via a separate tender process.
