Bedford Borough Council is urging small and medium businesses not to lose the chance to show an expression of interest for the Resilience and Innovation fund, a capital investment grant scheme aimed at supporting businesses in the South East Midlands area.

Cllr Jim Weir, Portfolio Holder for Environment said; “Bedford Borough is open for business, and this is another way our community of entrepreneurs and innovators is being supported.

“The Resilience and Innovation grant offers an exceptional opportunity for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to secure funding that can be used to bolster their company. Whether it's through strengthening their business performance, enhancing their ability to weather cost-of-living challenges, increasing innovation, or improving sustainability to support the transition towards a net-zero economy, this grant is here to make a difference.”

“With £1.9 million of government funding and a deadline of Monday 15 July, I urge you to get in your application. This is a unique chance to gain substantial financial backing that can help take your business to the next level. The maximum grant intervention through the programme will be up to 50% of eligible capital from £5,000 up to a maximum of £50,000.”
