The Marvellous Makers Summer Reading Challenge starts on Saturday 13 July and finishes on Saturday 7 September.
Children can register for the challenge between these dates in all libraries during staffed hours, as well as the mobile library. It’s completely free to take part, and children will receive everything they need to earn rewards for reading library books.
6 books = certificate
12 books = door hanger
18 books = medal
Children or their parent/guardian will need to have a library card to register for the Summer Reading Challenge. You can join during staffed hours at any library, on the mobile library, or join online.
There will be free crafts for children in all libraries every day of the school holidays, as well as regular activities like Lego Club, Sunday Funday, and Story Time. Check your local library for what’s on.
