How we can help

If you are homeless and eligible for our support, we will arrange an appointment with one of our Housing Assessment and Advice Officers.

We will then create a Personal Housing Plan to help you find a place to live and address any other issues affecting your housing.

Your Personal Housing Plan may include:

  • Providing confidential and impartial advice about your tenancy, including illegal evictions and harassment.
  • Mediating with your family or friends to try to keep you in your home with them.
  • Arranging support to keep you in your tenancy.
  • Helping you claim housing benefit to clear rent arrears and prevent your eviction.
  • Finding out whether you are eligible for a grant to reduce or clear rent arrears, or to use it as a deposit for a private rented property.
