Financial assistance of up to £1,000 is available to applicants to the Community Chest fund throughout the year, subject to funds being available. The Mayor has authority to award grants from the Community Chest fund, based on set eligibility criteria.
In order to manage applications/awards in a timely fashion, applications can be submitted as follows:
- Quarter 1: 01 April - 31 May for consideration in June
- Quarter 2: 01 July - 31 August for consideration in September
- Quarter 3: 01 October – 30 November for consideration in December
