The Bedford Borough Community Safety Partnership (CSP) is a joint partnership between Bedford Borough Council, Bedfordshire Police, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Probation Service (East of England) and Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. Together we work with housing associations, local businesses and voluntary/community organisations to tackle crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol misuse and increase people's perceptions about safety and well-being in our communities. This year the CSP is carrying out a strategic assessment of crime and anti-social behaviour to inform a new, three year, Community Safety Plan (2023-2026). We would like your views on a range of anti-social behaviour and crime related questions about your local area and the town centre to inform the strategic assessment and new Community Safety Plan. How to have your say You can have your say by completing the online survey below: Have your say on the Community Safety Partnership Or by requesting a paper version of the survey by emailing: CommunitySafety@bedford.gov.uk. You can also have your say by finding us at the Bedford River Festival and other events over the summer. Follow us on Twitter at Safer Bedford to find out more. What happens next This consultation will close at the end of October 2022. An evaluation report of people’s responses will be published in the Autumn. The data will be used to inform our strategic assessment which once completed can be found on the Community Safety web page.
