Our Community Hub supports those Bedford Borough residents who are most in need of help. This means residents in self-isolation who have no family or friends locally to help them with tasks like shopping or collecting prescriptions. The Community Hub also offers a friendly link to the outside world.
If you can't go out to shop for yourself please be aware that many supermarkets have introduced more home delivery slots. This includes priority slots and new options for vulnerable customers.

If you have no family or friends to help and you need food or prescriptions, you can ask the Community Hub for help by completing our online form.
Wherever possible please use the online form to contact us, it is simple to use and we will action your request as quickly as we can. For urgent requests only call 01234 718101.

To offer help to the Community Hub
If you and others in your household are healthy and you want to help us support residents who have no other support network please complete this online form to offer your help.
Many local communities have support groups to help those in self-isolation, these are being promoted on social media.
You can also contact the Community and Voluntary Service (CVS).
Access Bedford has an online drop-in service to support the local deaf community, it can make phone calls and translate English to British Sign Language (BSL) for people wanting to contact the Community Hub.
