The School Improvement Team delivers or brokers learning programmes for all professionals working in schools, which provide an opportunity for professionals at all levels of responsibility to develop and enhance their quality of teaching and learning and leadership skills.
Bedford Borough Council works in partnership with its Teaching Schools to develop bespoke training packages addressing needs identified through self-evaluation and the support and challenge programme in maintained schools.
Each year a training directory is compiled to address the needs of our schools for the professional development of their staff and teaching and learning practice.
