Music for Bedford Borough (MfBB)

MfBB are the lead organisation for the Bedford Music Hub. They work in partnership with many music education organisations, across a variety of genres.

Bedford Music Co-operative

Bedford Music Co-operative offers instrumental tuition on a one-to-one or small group basis. They also provide specialist projects in certain instruments, such as Bassoon or French Horn. In partnership with Music for Bedford Borough it offers pathways for progression and demo concerts.

Bedfordshire Music Trust

Bedfordshire Music Trust runs holiday courses for students who already play instruments or sing. This gives them the chance to take part in high quality ensembles or groups.

They also run an annual Orchestral Jamboree for young musicians around grade one standard.

The Philharmonia Orchestra

The Philharmonia Orchestra organises Key Stage 2 concerts at the Bedford Corn Exchange.  Primary children will have the opportunity to experience the Philharmonia Orchestra Live in concert.

Bedfordshire Orchestral Society

The Friends of Bedfordshire Youth Music

The association of parents and well-wishers of young musicians became a registered charity in 1971. The Friends support the work of the Bedfordshire Music Trust and the music services of Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough, Milton Keynes, and the Borough of Luton. It seeks to promote and sustain musical performance by the young people.
