Every week we see new apprenticeship opportunities advertised at www.findapprenticeship.service.gov.uk. At any one time there are always at least 30 apprenticeships within five miles of the centre of Bedford and this number triples if you are prepared to search further-a-field even by just another five miles.
Looking for an Apprenticeship?
Once you register with National Apprenticeships you can create a search, make it a favourite and sit back while the opportunities come to you via email and text message (you will need to tick the correct boxes to accept text messages)
Can’t see anything you like? Don’t give up at the first hurdle, we suggest you conduct a business search and look for businesses within the Bedford area that you’d like to work for. For example if you search for accountants – the search will give you the top 50 employers in order of distance from your chosen town.
Many employers have dedicated sections of their websites relating to recruitment and we’ve found apprenticeships advertised on their sites in the past which have not yet made it onto the National Apprenticeships site. They say the early bird gets the worm, so get in their first!
Alternatively you can approach the companies directly and see if they’d consider taking you on as an apprentice?
If you are looking for an apprenticeship working with children, visit our BTAC page.
