What we are consulting on
We are developing an All Age Skills Plan in order to improve the skills levels and employability of Bedford residents of all ages. Activities that would achieve this would fall under the 3 pillars of:
- Partner Co-operation
- Raise Awareness, Celebrate Achievement
- Develop the Future Workforce
The All Age Skills Plan will lead to partners developing their own Action Plan that ensures information is shared about economic and labour market trends, so that skills provision can respond to demand. Being ready in this way will help us to meet the growth challenge ahead.
This consultation aims to make sure that what we are proposing meets both identified needs and what our service users, stakeholders and community tell us.
