Bedford BID Proposal

Declaration of result for the BedfordBID Proposal

On 13 August 2014, a proposal from the BedfordBID Company Limited for renewal of a Business Improvement District (BID) for Bedford Town Centre for the period 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2020 was submitted to the Council. 

Having received the proposal, a Ballot must now be held among the business ratepayers in the area of the BID to see whether a majority agree with the proposed renewal. The Returning Officer for the Ballot is given the title Ballot Holder.

A BID is currently in place and will remain in place until 31 March 2020. Details of this BID are available online at
