BABUS - Bedford Area Bus Users Society

BABUS was founded in November 2005 and has three main aims.  They are:

  • to represent the interests of bus users in the Bedford area,
  • to encourage people to use buses,
  • to act as a focal point between bus users, bus companies and local authorities

BABUS is one of a growing number of bus user groups across the country, and has an interest in all bus services operating from Bedford Bus Station. BABUS is affiliated to Bus Users’ UK, the national watchdog for bus passengers.

Passenger Focus formally commenced work in April 2010 and continue to position themselves as the independent national passenger watchdog; making a difference on the basis of research and evidence.
