Real Time Information
Real Time information removes the
uncertainty a passenger feels when waiting at the bus stop, by
providing accurate information about the arrival of services at
their stop. Providing confidence for passengers to make an informed
and smart choice to travel by public transport.
How does it work?
Buses are tracked using satellites to
pinpoint their location and it is then calculated how long each bus
will take to arrive at your stop. Bedford Borough Council in
partnership with Stagecoach and Grant Palmer Passenger Services
currently provides Real Time information for most bus services.
You can get live bus info for any bus stop in the Borough
area. Click on the bus icon on the map to zoom in to the
area. Once you are zoomed in enough, you can then select
a stop to receive the information for that stop.
