“I truly believe that diversionary activities
for young people provide an essential 2-tier release: release for
the young people themselves, but equally release for those other
residents who may be affected by the behaviour of the young
people” - Karen Nicholson, Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association

“This was a tremendous opportunity … to
provide a quality programme for the most vulnerable young people in
Bedford. The pilot has proved that [Bedford Borough Council]
can deliver what the young people of Bedford rightly
deserve. It was a major success story and one that must be
supported in the future” – Colin Thomas, Acting Head of Youth
Services, Bedfordshire County Council
