The 2013 Summer Play and Games Schemes will be open from Friday 2nd August to Friday 23rd August.

Further details will be coming soon.

Play Schemes - 5-8 year olds

Games Schemes - 9-13 year olds

Useful Information:

THE COST

There is a charge of £2 per child per session payable at the door. It is not possible to pre-book places in advance and attendance to the scheme in the morning does not guarantee your child a place for the afternoon.

THE REGISTRATION

Every child attending the schemes will need to register at the site.  A parent/guardian will need to complete a registration form at their first session or before and then bring the form to their first session.

If the relevant sections on the registration forms, giving permission, are completed, children over 8 years of age are entitled to arrive and leave the scheme without a parent/guardian.  Safety regulations require that all children aged 8 years and under must be brought to and collected from the schemes by a parent or guardian.

ACTIVITIES

The schemes offer a wide range of arts, crafts, sports, games, visits, competitions and much more! Each scheme is different and develops its own programme of activities.

STAFF

Bedford Borough Council employs trained and police checked staff to lead activities and we encourage the integration of children with disabilities (physical and learning disabilities) into the schemes.  If you have any queries please contact the information number before attending. Each scheme has a limited number of places available.

Let's Get Prepared for the Summer...

Registration on the first day of the schemes can be very busy. To save time we welcome you to download and complete consent forms for your child/ children prior to the sessions and bring them with you on the first day. Each child must have a separate consent form completed on their behalf.

Click here to download the Consent Form

N.B. the last section 'About Your Child' is optional.

Places are on a first come first served basis.  Please ensure your child has been accepted before leaving them at the scheme
