Mindful Sport

Mindful sport -

The programme “Mindful Sport” for Bedford is to now include the following session (as advertised with the attached flyer). The aims and objectives are to improved mental health through social engagement and physical activity.

 

ALL SESSIONS WILL BREAK FOR THE CHRISTAMS PERIOD FROM THE 18TH OF DECEMBER AND WILL RETURN FROM THE 5TH OF JANUARY ONWARDS.

Mindful Table Tennis - £2

The Higgins Museum Bedford. Mondays, 3-4pm. £2 per person. Just Turn Up. 18+

Mindful Swim for Dementia - £2

Kempston Pool. Tuesdays, 11am-12pm. £2 per person. Carers for free. For people experiencing dementia.

Young Minds Yoga - £2

John Bunyan Sports and Leisure. Tuesdays, 4-5pm. £2 per person.  Just Turn Up 12-18.

Parents welcome to stay in the café and signposting to support services available.

Mindful Yoga - £3*

Bedford Central Library. Wednesdays, 1pm - 2.30pm*. £3 per person*. Just Turn Up. 18+

Coffee, Tea and refreshments included afterwards.

*On the last Wednesday of the month the sessions is just 1 hr long 1-2pm and will be discounted to £2 on that day

Relaxation Swimming - £3

Robinson Pool, Wednesdays, 8-9pm. £3 per session. Just Turn Up. 18+

The Wellbeing Walk - FREE

Meeting at the Higgins museum on Fridays at 11am. 1 hour social walking group around various Bedford routes with a coffee group at the Pantry afterwards.

No need to book - just pay on the day!

For adults 18+ (unless specified). No diagnosis is required but sessions are aimed at those who feel they would like to improve their mental health. Mental health professionals will be supporting the delivery and signposting users to other local services that are available.
