Coaching Hub
What is it?
A local service that we will be developing
into a “one stop shop” for information on sports
coaching qualifications, sports leader’s awards, National governing
body awards, referees and official courses, health improvement
qualifications and much more! We are hoping to develop the site to
include courses that are taking place at Bedford
Borough Council Leisure facilities as well as
schools, Higher Education establishments and other sites within the
Borough of Bedford.
We want the site to become the “shop window”
for coach education in the Borough – watch out for our special
“coaching week” in the spring/summer 2014!
Where do the courses take place?
We know that people are very busy and
travelling to venues outside Bedford can be difficult. All the
courses on this site take place at local venues within the Borough
of Bedford. If it’s on our site…..it’s in our
town

interested in but it is not advertised please contact us by
email/phone or completing and sending us the online request form
and we will consider organising it – if there is enough demand we
can arrange the courses for you!

Description:
The course teaches you how to deliver fitness
specifically to Children- understanding the challenges they

adults! By Bringing in interactive games and fitness based drills
this course will open up the opportunity to work in this field with
confidence. Open to non Nordic Walking instructors who want to
deliver fitness programmes to Children. This course will give those
new to teaching fitness a Level 2 qualification (includes EFK).
