Kempston Outdoor Centre
Kempston Outdoor Centre is situated on the outskirts of
Bedford.
The centre offers a full range of challenging and exciting
outdoor education and adventure activities. These include:

Wall

High Ropes Course including Jacobs Ladder, All Aboard, Crate
Stack, Leap of Faith and Balance Beams

Journeying including Camping Expeditions walking or
canoeing.
Courses at Kempston Outdoor Centre are designed to be fun and
exciting and to promote the personal development of our students
through the adventure experience. They aim to provide opportunities
for developing skills that will benefit participants throughout
their lives.
Kempston Outdoor Centre is open to Schools including Home School
Groups, Colleges, Universities, Community Groups including Scouts,
Boys Brigade, Guides, Football teams, and also to Individuals
(Children & Adults) for Group Team Building, Birthday Parties,
Skills Courses, Expeditions, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme,
Holiday Adventures, After School Activities, Public Climbing at
Kempston
Climbing Wall.
We tailor our courses to meet the requirements of our clients
but, typically, we work in activity groups of up to 10
participants. Safety and quality are the top priorities on our
courses. Students are provided with all necessary safety equipment.
All our instructors are experienced at working with young people
and are appropriately qualified in the activities they lead. All
staff are first aid qualified and CRB cleared. Kempston Outdoor
Centre is inspected and licensed by Bedfordshire County Council and
by the Adventure Activities
Licensing Authority (new window) to provide climbing,
trekking and watersports.

3rd.
