Priory Country Park

Priory Country Park lake

Priory Country Park is one of two parks in Bedford (plus one in Kempston and also Harrold/Odell) that have been awarded Green Flag Status by the Civic Trust. The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises high quality parks across the country and indicates that they are clean and well maintained places where visitors are welcomed and the local community involved in the life of the park.

Priory Country Park is managed for both people and wildlife. There are recreation facilities in and around the lake and slalom canoe course in the main park and also quiet areas such as the Finger Lakes for the benefit of wildlife.
