Park Events
Bedford Borough Council actively encourages its parks to be used
for events and other community activities to ensure that there is
plenty to see and do in Bedford.

Bedford International Kite Festival
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June 2018, Russell
Park
This June we will once again welcome visitors from all over the
county to come and watch an array of international kite flyers
display their skills in the big arena on Russell Park. This event
not only celebrates our long loved pastime of kite flying, but
offers a weekend of fun for all the family. There will be
inflatables, food stalls, fairground rides, crafts and trade stalls
all in one place. The bar on site also offers you an opportunity to
stop for a drink whilst you kick back and enjoy the entertainment
in the skies.
The event opens from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday 9th and
Sunday 10th June and admission to the site is free.
