Ground Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance deliver the following services:

  • Grass cutting.
  • The maintenance and planting of trees, shrubs and hedges.
  • Rose bed maintenance.
  • Planting of Spring and Summer bulbs.
  • Playground and sports markings.
  • Bowling green, cricket and mini golf maintenance.
  • Bonfire removals.
  • Floral decorations.
  • Horticultural advice.

 

Grounds Maintenance are responsible for maintaining open spaces, parks, playing fields, verges and shrub beds.

During office hours, you can ring the Council helpdesk on 0800 121 8888, alternatively you can e-mail: streetcare@bedford.gov.uk or complete our online service request form by clicking here (service.asp)

Office hours are: mon-fri 8.45am-5.15pm, and fri 8.45am-4.45pm. At all other times an answerphone is available to take your message.
