Social Work - Apply Anytime
Here at Bedford Borough we realise that the old style approach
of placing an advert when someone resigns is not the most efficient
way of handling recruitment for social care professionals.
Our aim is to be proactive rather than reactive and, to ensure this
we have in place an ‘Apply Anytime’ Scheme
for posts in Children’s Social Care.
This means if you are interested in working
for the Council in a social care capacity you can apply at any time
and your application will be considered. You don’t have to
wait to respond to an advert!
Applications received will be reviewed in the
second week of every month. If your application meets our
criteria you will be invited to attend for interview.
If you prove successful at interview you will
be placed in a recommended candidate pool and we will write to you
to confirm this.
The approved recommended candidate pool will
be contacted when a vacancy arises. The Council will approach
the pool before placing any external adverts.
