Personal Education Plans
We want all children to achieve their full potential. As a
corporate parent, we have a duty to promote the educational
achievement of children looked after.
Every Looked After Child in a school, further education or early
years setting must have a Personal Education Plan (PEP). This is a
record of what needs to happen to enable them to fulfil their
potential. Not only does it reflect any existing education plans
but also the importance of a personalised approach to learning
which secures good basic skills, stretches aspirations and builds
life chances.
