Alzheimer's Society Bedfordshire and Luton
The Alzheimer's Society is a charitable
organisation providing information, support and services to people
living with all types of dementia, their carers, family members,
health professionals, and anyone else with concerns about their
memory or that of someone else.
Dementia support and information available via
Dementia Support Service points at various locations across
Bedfordshire and Luton, Dementia Support workers for one-to-one
support, attendance at Memory Assessment Services, and a local
Dementia Support Line (Monday to Friday 10.30am to 3.30pm).
Peer Support and ‘Singing for the
Brain’TM groups available at various locations in
Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire for people living with
dementia and their carers to meet and join in with stimulating

Referral can be via Social Services, your GP,
the Memory Assessment Service, self-referral, or by anyone with
concerns about an individual.
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (24-hour
answerphone). Please contact the office to make an
appointment before visiting the office, in order for us to ensure
the correct member of staff is available for you.
