Bedford LINk
Local Involvement Network (LINk)
What is
LINk?
LINk stands for Local Involvement Network - a
network of individuals, groups and communities, who want to work
together to improve local health and social care services.
As of 1 April 2008, each local authority (with a
responsibility for social services) was required to establish
a Local Involvement Network (LINk).
Bedford LINk
The Bedford LINk aims to give
people a stronger voice in how health and social care services are
delivered.
It is run by local people for local people.
The role of Bedford LINk is to find out what people want, monitor
local services, to use their powers to hold them to account and get
results!
Bedford LINk provides an exciting and different way for individuals
and groups to positively impact on health and social care services
in Bedford Borough. You can be part of LINk, whether you’re an
individual or wish to represent a group within your
community.
Bedford LINk is able to look at all aspects of health and social
care, putting services under the microscope no matter who they are
provided by.
