Background Studies & Monitoring
Background Studies
The Planning Department undertakes background studies to
inform the documents of the Bedford Development Framework. The
background studies that have been undertaken can be viewed through
the left hand menu.
Monitoring
Planning Services monitors various aspects of performance
throughout the borough, most notably through its Annual Monitoring Report, which is a part
of the Local Development Framework.
The Housing Monitoring Report and the Employment Monitoring
Report are undertaken annually to demonstrate completions and the
outstanding supply in both of these areas. These reports can
be viewed below.
