View Applications Plans and Documents
The Council's PublicAccess website enables you to monitor
the progress of planning applications through either
a Property Search or an Application Search. It is also
possible to make comments online on particular applications, as
well as view Decision Notices and the conditions or reasons for any
refusal of applications.
Some general features of the online
system are available for all, whereas some of the more advanced
features require registration. For more information on using
PublicAccess, including registering for the additional features,
please read the PublicAccess
user guide.
The Measuring Tool allows you to measure distance, area or
perimeters on plans that accompany applications online. Please read
the Measuring
Tool Instructions for use. Please note that only those with
Adobe Reader 8 or above will be able to use this feature.

applications and Enforcement and Appeal
cases. PublicAccess also includes a mapping system with
features and constraints from 1st Sept 1997. We advise
you to read the guidance
notes.

To view scanned images
only (current or
historic) relating to Planning, Enforcement, Appeals, Listed
Buildings or Tree Preservation Orders, or conduct a history search
on the plotting sheets pre-1991, please click
the link below (available 24 hours). All scanned images are
kept in year and application order number. The Plotting Sheets
section has a key and a map to direct you to the correct one for
the area you are researching.

directly to the Planning administration database and information is
updated during office hours.
